Margaret: 19 yrs old, experienced multiple immigration in her life, from Thailand to Singapore to China and to Chicago. Struggling to locate her identity. Living alone in an apartment in Chicago loop. Depressed. Has a strong addiction to cigarettes.

 

Coe: 19 yrs old, moved multiple times within United States. Living with 2 roommates in the dorms of Saic. Tired and confused. Constantly smokes weed.

 

Belmont: 4 yrs old. A stray adopted from the shelter. Had a tough childhood. Currently living with Margaret, needs someone to look after him when Margaret goes home in summer. Gets angry easily.

 

Cactus: Age unidentified. Imported from Mexico. Unapproachable because of all the spikes.
